Joocr is a single app for public EV charging in Aotearoa. We’re still building it. Connect your network once and any Joocr driver can start a session on your hardware, at your prices, under your name. We handle the payment side.
We'll get integration docs and a sandbox key over to you shortly, then talk through what commercial model suits your network.
Roaming should send you volume without costing you control. That was the brief we started from.
Idle stalls are the expensive ones. Joocr points drivers at whichever site actually suits them, including yours, at times your own app was never going to reach.
No sign-up funnel, no card registration, no support tickets for forgotten passwords. That overhead sits with us.
Drivers pay per session at the point of charge. You get one consolidated settlement plus a per-session reconciliation file, so there are no chargebacks to chase driver by driver.
One integration, rather than a separate agreement with every other operator in the country.
Session volumes, dwell times, turn-aways and queue patterns per site. The numbers that justify your next install.
We report connector faults and failed starts back to you in near real time, so a dead stall doesn't stay dead all weekend.
It’s standards-based, and most of the work happens on our side of the wire.
Point us at your OCPI 2.2.1 endpoint, or let us deal with your CPMS vendor directly. Sandbox first, production once you're happy.
Your tariffs, connector types, power ratings and live availability come straight through. Change a price on your side and it changes in Joocr.
Drivers charge and pay per session. We authorise, meter and collect, then settle on whatever cycle we agree, with a line-by-line CDR report you can drop into your ledger.
Aggregators get a bad name for flattening the operators underneath them. We’ve built this the other way around.
How a connected site looks to a driver. Operator names are redacted while integrations are in progress.
We haven't settled on one pricing model. Networks differ in size, hardware and margin, so terms get agreed per partner, in writing, before you connect anything.
Per-session, subscription, revenue share or some mix of them. We'll model whichever suits your economics and be straight with you about what it costs.
Whatever we agree, Joocr never sets, marks up or discounts your energy price. Your rate reaches the driver exactly as you published it.
You're settled on the full tariff you charged, with anything we're owed handled separately, so your reporting stays clean.
Non-exclusive and terminable on notice. We'd rather earn the renewal than hold you to a contract.
No. We handle billing for sessions started through our app. Your own app, tariffs, loyalty programme and direct customers are untouched. We expect most drivers to use both: yours for the sites they visit weekly, Joocr for everywhere else.
We never set or alter your tariff. Drivers see price next to distance, availability, connector fit and reliability. Price is one factor among several, and the nearest working charger usually wins.
Then this is one more, on standard OCPI, with no exclusivity clause to unpick. It sits alongside whatever you already have.
If you're on a mainstream CPMS with OCPI 2.2.1 support, very little. We integrate with your vendor and you approve it. Older or bespoke platforms take longer, and we'll tell you which camp you're in before you commit to anything. 2.3.0 will be supported soon.
Drivers are payment-verified before their first session, so the collection relationship sits with us rather than with you. How settlement and risk are structured is part of the commercial conversation, and we'll put it in writing before you connect anything.
That's a conversation, not a rate card. We're pre-launch and haven't fixed one commercial model yet. Per-session, subscription and revenue share are all on the table depending on your size and hardware. What won't change: we never touch your tariff, and you're settled on gross.
Joocr is in build, the driver waitlist is open, and we’re scoping first integrations now. We have no live drivers yet. Early partners help shape the roaming spec and go live first.
Tell us about your network and we'll come back with integration docs, a straight answer on how much work it is, and a commercial model built around your numbers.
Integration docs and a sandbox key are on their way. We'll follow up about what commercial model suits your network.
